Track Day 1/9/08, time trials at Sebring Club and Malayan Krait. Drivers: Cpt Awesome, immortalSINSAfter a warm-up at Mugello, immortalSINS and I took the Team Cars out for a spin at Malayan Krait.
Nissan R390:Best Time: 1:31.32
Notes: Not geared well for this course, but it turned in the fastest time none the less. It gripped the road and never let go.
Ferrari F430:Best Time: 1:34.96
Notes: While the slowest around the track, it was geared perfectly for the sharp turns and was the most fun to drive.
Subaru Impreza WRX STI:Best Time: 1:33.77
Notes: The Subaru felt slow on the straights but was comfortable coming out of the corners thanks to it's all wheel drive.
After the challenging runs at Malayan Krait, the straight foreword Sebring Club was a breeze.
Nissan R390:Best Time: 0:57.75
Notes: Coming in impressively under a minute, the R390 proved the perfect match for the course.
Ferrari F430:Best Time: 1:00.77
Notes: The Ferrari was great on the straights but careful throttle control was necessary in some of the corners.
Subaru Impreza WRX STI:Best Time: 1:01.93
Notes: Though not suited for the flat corners of Sebring, the Impreza still managed to strain across the finish line just a second shy of the Ferrari.
