i didn't feel like making a new thread so i'm posting here, but today i had the best single day of Halo in my whole life. Pcmel117, immortalSINS, and i went medieval on anyone that crossed our path in team slayer. then a bloke by the name of peewee joined us (and may be joining G_T shortly) and we continued to win for a good hour or two. we had a streak of at least 10 games going and i gained 3 ranks (which is a lot for me considering that i seem to rank up slower than anyone i know). we were on such a roll that even when matched up against a general, a brigadier, and two new profiles at guardian no less, we still pulled out a win.
